WebcamTaxi is yet another network of global webcams that you can search by country, city, and browse by location on a map. Big brother is always reliably there for you.
Skyline Webcams
SkylineWebcams have cameras pointed at some of the most famous attractions and city views around the world. You can search by country and city location or browse top viewed beaches and cityscapes.
World Heritage
UNESCO is a United Nations agency dedicated to preserving and promoting the world’s most unique cultural heritage. The UNESCO website has a list of 981 sites that are considered to have “outstanding universal value”. Many of these cultural sites have online virtual tours that enable you to see panoramic photos up close while reading all about these fascinating places to appreciate more about why they are so important.
Google Arts & Culture
Google Arts & Culture is an online platform of high-resolution images and videos of artworks and cultural artifacts from cultural organizations throughout the world. It utilizes high-resolution image technology that enables the viewer to tour collections and galleries and explore the artworks’ physical and contextual information. The platform includes advanced search capabilities and educational tools. The app includes a feature that pairs your selfie with an art doppelgänger.
EarthCam
The global network EarthCam was built as a way to transport people to interesting and unique locations around the world that may be difficult or impossible to experience in person. Providing a virtual window to the world, viewers can freely explore the globe from unparalleled vantage points, such as the torch balcony of the Statue of Liberty, which has been closed to the public since 1916.
Windy Webcams
Windy is a Czech company providing interactive weather forecasting services worldwide. Initially, the portal focused on wind animation but currently, there are other basic meteorological parameters such as temperature, pressure, relative humidity, cloud base and additional panels with more advanced data. The wind animation is based on the open sources project “Earth”.
