WordPress & Blocksy
At its core, WordPress (.com or .org) is the simplest, free, open-source and most popular way to create your own website. In fact, WordPress powers over 43% of all the websites on the Internet. WordPress is written in hypertext preprocessor language and paired with a MySQL database (this site uses 23 of such tables) with supported HTTPS. Try it right at WordPress Playground
Features include a plugin architecture and a template system, referred to within WordPress as Themes (more than 31,000 themes of which approx. 1/3 are free themes). The Theme in use with this site is the Pro version of Blocksy

My Media
There are currently close to 11,000 media files uploaded to the cloud library.
Most are pics & vids taken during my travels and events, I attended. Discover them in the Photo Album and Video Collection.
Next to some profiles on chosen social media platforms, I also actively maintain external libraries such as a Digital Bookshelf, a Movie Database, Music Playlists and a YT Channel -> Explore My Media
Plugins In Use
A WordPress plugin is a piece of software that “plugs into” a WordPress site. Plugins can add new functionality or extend existing functionality on a site, allowing to create virtually any kind of website, from e-commerce stores to portfolios to directory sites. Plugins so do extend the WordPress experience and currently, one may browse through more than 60 thousand free plugins. Apart from these free plugins, there are also thousands of premium WordPress plugins sold by third-party companies and developers. A good rule of thumb though is to never exceed 20 plugins even if some people claim that the plugin quantity does not matter only quality does.
