Finance & Projects

Responsibility for investment, cost, personnel and sales budgets of up to USD 100 million with individual signature. Preparation of various business plans and concept studies. Evaluation of the acquisition of a company with a complementary product portfolio and development of a chain of stores in a franchise system (both in Switzerland) as well as takeover of an existing production facility in P.R. China. Conducting feasibility studies for own factories in S.R. Vietnam and Cambodia.

Contractual Matters

Corporate and HR contracts as well as brand registrations, global framework and service level agreements, OEM / ODM supply agreements and cross-company agreements for group-wide, cross-continental tax optimization.

Global Procurement

Setup and operate 12 international purchasing offices locally in the procurement market Asia. Sourcing / Purchasing / Logistics (incl. 3PL, sea freight) / Supply Chain Management / Vendor Management / Strategic MoB decision matrices. Continuously observe market tendencies (innovation, overall state of supplier market and vendors). Set-up KPI’s and monitor service levels to ensure compliance and uninterrupted availability. Development and implementation of standardized cross-continental procurement strategiy, policies and procedures by formulating a 100-pages handbook also taking into account the global legal aspects of trademarks and private labels.

OPEX / QM / Lean

Certified in Lean Management, Six Sigma and as an Internal Auditor. Development and implementation of transnational quality management (QM). Creation of multilingual QM documentation. Conducting internal and external audits for the certification of ISO standards. Development of a KAIZEN maturity model and expansion of the KAIZEN solution methodology. Planning and moderation of KAIZEN events. Supplier audits in Europe and Asia. Introduction of quality audit processes and implementation of external quality services in Asia.

Marketing

Managing the company’s online presence by maintaining and continuously optimizing the website, including the e-shop. Coordination of cooperation with third-party online platforms. Planning and implementation of targeted advertising campaigns in print media. Production of sales promotion documents such as brochures, article sheets, newsletters and print templates for the general catalog together with an external agency. Initiation and implementation of a company-wide CD concept.

Distribution

Leadership of inside and field sales forces. CRM and KAM. Responsible for store operation for both B2B and B2C customers and external sales office. Export of end-consumer goods out of various countries all over Asia to Scandinavia and Europe.

HR Management

Cross-country and multi-level HR management and employee leadership of 70 staff in Asia and 100 staff in Switzerland of various nationalities incl. apprentices in 3 professions.

EDP / IT

Strong IT affinity with further training as Super User MS Office 365 and advanced ERP knowledge. Website design and development (HTML, CSS, JS, CMS). Evaluation and implementation of software for inventory optimization and document / process management. Working with PIM software and administration of VPN and LANs.
